INVENT.  MTE develops protein ingredients that transform the texture of alternative meat. Our unique IP lies in the utilization of Gaius.AI's advanced automated industrial extrusion processes. Our products perfectly mimic and enhance the sensation of meat.

 

PRODUCE.  The company was founded in 2020 by the highest-ranking technologists in Israel’s food industry and by 2021 submitted its first patent. Joined by world-class data scientists, protein engineers, and mechanical engineers, MTE introduces industry-oriented solutions to food mass production. Collaborating with leading multinational food companies, MTE was selected by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology as one of 2020’s most promising start-ups.

Dr. Yishai Mishor

Dr. Yishai Mishor is MTE's founder. Prior to MTE, Yishai was founder and CEO of Ein Hamishpat, a legal-tech start-up.

 

His 20-year career spans law, business, academia and politics, including serving as Chief of Staff to the President of Israel. Yishai holds a PhD in Law from the University of Oxford and was a professor at Oxford.

Andres Voloschin

Andres Voloschin is Meat.The End's Head of Culinary Development. He brings with over 12 years of experience in food product development  for diverse industries, specializing in plant-based and cultivated meat development and sensory experience for the last 5 years.

 

Andres holds a BA in Economics & History from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Yamit Tal

Yamit Tal is a food technologist with over 20 years of experience leading cross-functional teams through the entire product development lifecycle.

 

Having specialized in meat substitutes, she brings knowledge in frozen, chilled and extrusion technologies. Her previous positions include management positions in Nestle Israel & Maabarot Group. Yamit holds a BSc in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the Technion in Israel, and an MBA from the University of Haifa.

Shlomo Ben Shimol

Shlomo Benshimol brings extensive experience in accounting, budgeting, and financial management for multinational companies.

 

Shlomo is also a certified public accountant in Israel and was the Chief Internal Auditor for Checkpoint, an Israeli tech giant, Strauss Group, Israel’s second-largest food company, and Bank Mizrahi. He was previously a Deloitte partner.
